2. Madison County ROE offers Initial and Refresher School Bus Driver trainings. Schedule

• Second Division School Bus Driver Curriculum

• First Division School Bus Driver Curriculum

• Initial classes include “Busing on the Lookout” training to recognize student trafficking. - BOTL Wallet Card.

3. Madison County ROE offers "SBD" fingerprinting for Illinois school bus drivers. A form from the hiring district/company is required. To make an appointment call 618-296-4530.

4. School Transportation Vehicle Use Requirements

School bus accident reporting:

• Accident reporting – The Illinois State Board of Education requires school districts and contracted companies to keep a file of all school bus accident forms in house and at the ROE within their service area. Madison County transportation districts and companies can email or mail copies of all school bus accident forms (ISBE & Police) to Rachel Lewis at rllewis@madisoncountyil.gov
