Fingerprinting

ROE #41 Regional Office of Education is a state of Illinois licensed digital Live Scan fingerprint/background check vendor.

  • Fingerprinting is performed by APPOINTMENT ONLY on a Livescan system and lasts approximately 10-15 minutes.

  • Fingerprint results are typically processed within two weeks, but in rare cases can take as long as eight weeks.

  • Cost is $45.00, CASH ONLY. We do not accept checks or credit cards.

  • You MUST bring a state issued ID-Example: Driver’s License.

Fingerprint

School Fingerprints: Every district is required to fingerprint all employees or contractors that may be in contact with students. Please check with your school or district to make sure you have the correct form.

Public Fingerprints: We also fingerprint for Illinois Conceal Carry, Massage Therapists, Licensed Practical Nurses, Registered Professional Nurses, Illinois Physician License, Locksmiths, Private Detectives, Private Security Contractors, Security Guards, PERC Cards, and Vehicle Dealer Licenses, among others.

There are some public fingerprints we are not able to do. Please verify we can fingerprint for your specific code when you call to make an appointment. You are responsible for knowing what you need to be fingerprinted for. Refunds will not be issued for incorrect Purpose Codes you have provided us. After the appointment you will be provided with a Transaction Control Number(TCN) to include with applications.

  • We do not fingerprint for DCFS Childcare, Adoption and Foster parents.

  • We do not do fingerprint cards and cannot fingerprint for other states.

  • Fingerprinting for CDL HAZMAT endorsement can only be done through the TSA. Click here for information.
